How to Participate
Buy a ticket for the event you’d like to attend!
Tickets start from 2,000 yen. *Prices may vary by venue. Please check the event page for details.
Some ticket types may sell out, so we recommend purchasing them in advance.
There are two types of tickets: for Cosplayers and for Photographers/General Attendees.
If you’re not cosplaying or taking professional photos, make sure to purchase a
Photographers/General Attendees Ticket.
Event Etiquette
To make sure everyone has a great time, please follow the rules and etiquette of acosta!
Do not change at home or in your hotel
In Japan, it’s considered inappropriate to wear cosplay while using public transportation.
Please use the changing rooms provided at the event.
No photography without permission
Taking photos without asking may be considered sneaky or invasive.
Always ask for permission before photographing anyone.
Important Notes
Changing into Costume

Please use the designated men’s or women’s changing rooms to get into your costume.
We kindly ask that you don’t enter or exit the venue while in costume. -
Changing rooms are large, shared spaces separated by gender.
There are no partitions or private booths, so please change in your assigned area. - Changing or applying makeup anywhere outside the changing rooms, like in nearby stores or public restrooms, is not allowed.
Tickets
- Regardless of ticket type, each person can purchase up to 2 tickets per day.
- Once purchased, tickets can’t be changed or canceled. Thanks for your understanding!
- Your ticket includes both access to the event and use of the cosplay changing rooms.
- During the event, feel free to shop inside Sunshine City while wearing your costume!
Age Restrictions

Children below junior high school must be accompanied by a guardian.
*Guardians will also need to purchase a regular admission ticket.
On the Day of the Event

Don’t forget to check in at reception when you arrive!
Please check the official event page for details on the location for check-in. -
If you’re unable to attend the event for personal reasons,
your ticket will be considered canceled and won’t be refunded. -
For everyone’s safety, the event may be canceled in case of severe weather (like
typhoons).
Any updates will be posted on the official website and acosta!’s official X account. - Please take all your trash home with you.

If you’re feeling unwell on the day of the event, please refrain from participating.
In some cases, we may ask you not to join for health and safety reasons. -
We cannot be held responsible for any accidents or injuries during the event.
(However, if we are found to be at fault, we will cover direct and standard damages up to the cost of your participation fee.) - If you’d like to have insurance coverage in case of accidents or injuries, please arrange it yourself in advance.
Other

On the day of the event, official photographers and various media
may be taking photos and recording videos.
Attendees may appear on TV, newspapers, magazines, the web,
social media, etc. Thanks for your understanding!
